This kills off anyone’s willingness to create incharacter conflict due to the fact that one admin could say ‘voided. Not happening’ and leave us alone.

Filtershakes: Hey, we need to discuss the mutiny thing your character is planning
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: Satan sent me the heads up about the whole thing and that he wasn't gonna talk to you so I'm willing to do it, yeah.
Filtershakes: Are you actually planning to go through with this?
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: More than likely, yes. With the lack of order and the fact that Octis IC'ly hasn't really been doing his duties as Captain for whatever reason it's put me and quite a few others at the only option of needing new leadership or at the very least some very serious changes.
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: I'm not trying to shit on Humpy as a player by doing this, just to be clear, I'm sure he's very busy with IRL issues or whatever. This is a purely IC issue rather than anything to do with OOC.
Filtershakes: So, what are the captain's duties?
Filtershakes: ?
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: Exactly what I would expect from a Captain; responsibility for the ship's safe and effcient operation; safety and security, management of cargo, final word on navigation, crew management and all that. Though I'm sure that there are going to be differences with what I expect from the Captain and you expect.
Filtershakes: And who would you instal las the new captain then?
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: We talked about it IC and the consensus was to place Foster as Captain.
Filtershakes: And you do know there's a very good chance of this failing right?
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: How so? Just out of curiosity.
Filtershakes: By way of however the loyalists stop the sepratists
Filtershakes: By loosing.
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: Then yes, I understand that. I think everyone is on board with this understands.
Filtershakes: And if we came to the decision that it had to fail no matter what?
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: Then that is where I would raise concerns. Because even if we did everything right in an IC instance it would still fail for whatever reason.
Filtershakes: And if the loyalists do everything right on their end, you'd all be ok with the consequences of loosing?
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: I've spoken to those on board, yes, we all are.
Filtershakes: Ok and just how many of the crew are on board?
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: Estimated at least half of the regular playerbase that are on daily.
Filtershakes: Numbers.
Filtershakes: Would be nice, please.
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: About ten or eleven. I only say daily playerbase because I see 20 or less on daily unless it's an event. I'm not very good with my maths, though.
Revenant #SpaceBoogLives: I might be wrong.

The admin team seems to only share information between themselves. Any information that could be given to characters or players are unfound and almost asspulled. None of the players seem to be engaged, but rather waiting for the next admin to shove the event along as per the usual due to this.

Right, let me get this straight, we never tell when are there going to be events.. we just.. throw it there... specially when its part of the event's lore and spreading it would be considered spoilters...  check the group by the way, there are one week announceements.

The admin team’s events, while interesting in theory, are uninteresting and uninspired after only a few hours time. Any time something occurs in the server people question ‘why’ and receive little answer. Everything seems thrown together, rushed, and generally unthought through.

This is why we got the "player events" thread, where you can go ahead and apply for your own event! If you *think* things are that bad, go ahead and try to make your own and "show us" how to do it

Rolling; No. Just no. We’re competent writers and /adults/. We should be able to discuss what characters are better at fighting than another, we should not simply ‘roll’ to see if our battled hardened criminal can land a single punch. If this was a card game or perhaps something that you do not know then it would be fine, but in many situations it feels cheap and unwanted.
Voiding. Any time something occurs that is ‘bad’ for a character, it is voided. See, fights, voided. Terrible choices with two of the admin team AGREEING to an asspulled pamphlet on a terminus isle.

What nobody knows, is the pamphlet was never IC, was it my fault that GMOD screwed it up and the message didn't come? Yes, it was a single problem, now I dont care if it "ruins everything", it was never meant to be IC, nor it will be.

Communication. The writer of this complaint feels that if they brought up any of these points to an admin face to face, they would face a kick or a ban due to it. Perhaps it is simply over thinking it, but it is genuinely afraid to speak to any of them.
Incharacter conflicts; Several events, as you know, were planned IC and, despite it being completely IC and possibly being entirely story changing - causing ALOT of development along the way - was told that it would fail regardless of how well it went off. This kills off anyone’s willingness to create incharacter conflict due to the fact that one admin could say ‘voided. Not happening’ and leave us alone.

That is actually just you. The admins, specially me, offers help towards the other players if they have any problems or questions, if you keep making assumptions, then it's your problem, not mine, or ours.

Certain admins should not be in power. Either they want to make sure their characters are unbeatable or, in certain cases, are convinced they could kill /the toughest race in the sentient galaxy/ for no apparent reason.

I see that is a direct statement towards me, and you are not very discrete about it, that sentence is actually false, since I do not think i'm a OP bastard, at least i didnt get a striker out of nowhere, did I?

Admin transparency; To some degree, this is good! But when no one in the community feels as though they can actively trust and understand what is going on IC then something is wrong.

MAYBE if the discord clusterfuck could stop and actually try to get some development instead of messing around with PAC,  these people would. Also dont say "No one", because the Discord folks aren't the whole server.

No one trusts the admins.

Nothing I can do about insecurity. And once again, its not "no one", use these words correctly

What is the story any more? There is no conflict, we have done nothing ‘criminal’ and two of the four ‘story’ events that have gone on have been vacations. How did a bunch of wanted, hardened, known criminals arrive on the citadel? Did anyone explain? Was it thought through? We were able to have a party and dance with illegal characters. Where was Csec?

I hope you understand that our owner had to take a LOA, he will be back in a few days, story will go on, and *yes*, it has been explained, if you didn't find it out IC, I dont know, then.

“Most events are passive mystery or ship invasions (on us). None of it is inspired.” - Anon player

Already talked about player events

“You will not and cannot blame the inability of your admin team on the dark lord Satan, he is not involved and the player named after such is just a massive poser.” - Anon player

That actually sounds very power hungry.

Applications seem rather unfound. Do the tiers actually affect anything? Player makes teirs in one or two, yet have been denied or asked to changed based equipment that should have a teir of its own. It makes little sense and should be looked through

Which is why we made it strict now.

IC/OOC: It can be noted that, to several anonymous members of the community, the admins seem to bring OOC matters into the IC univervse, stopping several things based on that. Similarly, this mindset has spread through several other players to the point where someone wanted to minge punch for a fight.
We love you. We really do. We’re friends and we want to have fun on this server but these glaring issues are just too much for many to have fun. Please, don’t take this personally.

That one was actually a misunderstanding, us, me even, never, ever wanted to bring OOC to IC, we are all friends, yes, but whatever happened, i want to assure you, that this was noever meant to happen, and someone might have gotten it wrong.

By the way i dont know how knowing the name of a place can be considered "protagonsit"

The Discord that WROTE this, not just me. I didn't type this I only posted. The People who /agree/ with this is the vast majority of the your server.

I see that is a direct statement towards me, and you are not very discrete about it, that sentence is actually false, since I do not think i'm a OP bastard, at least i didnt get a striker out of nowhere, did I?

This is a direct statement from all of us.

What nobody knows, is the pamphlet was never IC, was it my fault that GMOD screwed it up and the message didn't come? Yes, it was a single problem, now I dont care if it "ruins everything", it was never meant to be IC, nor it will be.

From what I've heard and what people AGREE is that you got this authorized before doing it and voided it when it backfired.

This is why we got the "player events" thread, where you can go ahead and apply for your own event! If you *think* things are that bad, go ahead and try to make your own and "show us" how to do it

I've been asking to be given admin for a single event. I want to run it, not write it and let your admin team run it.

“You will not and cannot blame the inability of your admin team on the dark lord Satan, he is not involved and the player named after such is just a massive poser.” - Anon player

That actually sounds very power hungry.

I did not write this, again another player did whom I will happily name if needed.

Strict is over nit-picking simple applications

I am genuinely sick and fucking tired of listening to you guys bicker so much.
Okay, yes, we get it, the admin team isn't that good.
They run events that make no sense, they try and cover up their mistakes when things backfire.
They nitpick over applications, they target Satan (And don't tell me they don't.)

But the fucking "discord group" or whatever you say is pretty much the SAME when it comes to bigotry.
You guys sit there and say the admin team is targeting players and shittalking behind closed doors, when I come into the discord and hear you do the EXACT. SAME. THING. EVERY DAY. I hear you talk about how "Filtershakes is an asshole, Rose sucks Filter's cock, and Arglack is.. arglack." ~Anon

I watched you write up that complaint list, and I saw changes you made to make it seem like you weren't targetting someone in specific. I listen to your conversations about how you're trying to make it look like you're not as bad as the admin team. You're all fucking pathetic because both sides try to cover up every flaw about them when the other side knows exactly what those flaws are, and if somebody tries to call somebody else out on something, it's entirely based on word of mouth and NOTHING can be guarenteed, which means everything just turns to shittalking on both sides.

Please. Everyone.
Shut the fuck up.
You're not contributing anything to the server.
I need fucking chemotherapy after being exposed to the raw amount of cancer this entire community spews from it's fucking mouth.

p.s. inb4 banned from discord

Yeeeeah, I agree with Gungi. Although I am one who does the same shit, saying shit both in or off the Discord, in the server even. If you people want to contribute, fucking get better and stop whining. And yes! I am a fucking hypocrite so fuck you. Fuck you all, stop being bitches saying shit to each other and work together so daddy Legion don't spank y'all once he comes back.

Look, this has gotten ridiculous. Firstly, everyone calm down. You aren't declaring war on a neighboring country, you're discussing problems with the server. We all need to retain respect and politeness or this is going to turn into a shit show.
Firstly I'm just going to break down what everyone's said.
Firstly, Satan. If you are going to directly target someone, at the very least be honest about it. The entirety of your post is clearly targeted towards Arglack and other specific members of the admin team. If you want to call people out, call people out. On top of that, you wave around anonymous supporters as if they mean anything. I could say I have the entire server behind me on something but without names it means nothing. Moving on to break down the post itself,

>The admin team seems to only share information between themselves. Any information that could be given to characters or players are unfound and almost asspulled. None of the players seem to be engaged, but rather waiting for the next admin to shove the event along as per the usual due to this.

Firstly, admin teams share a lot of information among themselves that the community shouldn't know, and you should know this. Admins can not share everything with the community. Not only is it logistically infeasible, it would result in the players knowing way more than they should. I'm not saying transparency isn't necessary, or that it may not be lacking here, simply that an admin team can not tell the players everything. Asspulling of information isn't something I can vouch towards either side on as I don't have enough event experience and I'm only just getting back into the server. However, on the final point, I have seen plenty of players enjoying themselves and engaged in passive and event RP. Speaking for yourself and perhaps your supporters, if they exist at all, does not mean you speak for the entire server. You had best remember that if you plan to make further blanket statements.

>The admin team’s events, while interesting in theory, are uninteresting and uninspired after only a few hours time. Any time something occurs in the server people question ‘why’ and receive little answer. Everything seems thrown together, rushed, and generally unthought through.

The one event I have taken part in so far I found very very interesting. It had intrigue, involved a lot of roleplaying and no spamming bullets at hordes of NPCs. It actively avoided things I would see as dull and uninspired for an event. The idea that people asked why and didn't get answers is quite apt. Because it was a mystery. If people asked "Why is this happening?" and instantly got a straight answer it wouldn't be interesting in any way. There would be nothing there to engage, it would have just been standing on a map for several hours passive'ing.

>The players feel unengaged. Anything that happens happens /exclusively/ because the admins say so. A player will be speaking, an admin will appear, ‘roll for injuries’. A player is thrown into the water, ‘you are now sick’.

And here we have more blanket statements. "The players feel unengaged" is a ludicrous statement unless you have spoken to the majority of the server population and heard this from all of them, something I doubt highly. Your wording is specifically chosen to breed fear and make people think you have more backing than you most likely do. I can't speak on the second sentence as again, I don't have enough experience. However, the final point is ludicrous. Having been there rather than heard second hand, the character in question was thrown into and ingested water that held corpses for upwards of two months. If someone were to not get sick from drinking that water I would be surprised.

Now if this is as bad as you say, it is a problem. Rolling is a crutch for bad combatRP and I don't see it as much more in these situations. The voiding I can't speak on, but it does again seem to be a cowardly way of targeting someone without saying who they are.

For starters, if you can't name your sources you can not expect anyone to take them without a ton of salt. This is solely playing the “fearful and oppressed” card because you are in a position where it might fit.
For not starters, once again skirting around an issue while addressing it directly. No doubt partially you are referring to the mutiny, something that no sane admin team would agree to. A mutiny throws everything into chaos, and without proper planning some time before it happens, it could completely throw the server into chaos with no chance for salvaging it. And again, making general statements about the entire player base does nothing but a disservice to the points you are trying to make. I have seen players not worried about what you say everyone's worried about. Generalizations do you no good, avoid them if you have decent arguments.

>Certain admins should not be in power. Either they want to make sure their characters are unbeatable or, in certain cases, are convinced they could kill /the toughest race in the sentient galaxy/ for no apparent reason.

If you are going to make comments like this, please have the stones to actually call someone out. This is the most passive aggressive way you could call someone out and it honestly disgusts me. If you are going to call someone out, call them out.

>Admin transparency; To some degree, this is good! But when no one in the community feels as though they can actively trust and understand what is going on IC then something is wrong.

Wait, what? Above you said, and I quote precisely, “The admin team seems to only share information between themselves. Any information that could be given to characters or players are unfound and almost asspulled.” Do you want transparency, or do you want the admin team to have their secrets? Confusion on what's happening IC happens regularly in all walks of RP, and is very difficult to stave off without sitting everyone down and explaining exactly what's going on, something that is impossible. Oh, and more generalizations. Quit that.

>No one trusts the admins.

Hi generalizations, I'm dad.

As mentioned by Arglack later, Legion isn't here. This is a holding pattern until he gets back, something you have experienced and taken part in in the past. Clearly you've forgotten when Fury had to leave to go to his new college and you and I were trying to keep a holding pattern back in the day. How quickly you forget.
And how dare criminals not just walk around doing crimes. That's how criminals work, right? They just walk around stealing things and killing people yeah? Like how Krogan walk around starting fights and being belligerent.
How did wanted people arrive on the citadel? The citadel is no stranger to crime and known, hardened and wanted criminals. Check your lore before you complain.

>“Most events are passive mystery or ship invasions (on us). None of it is inspired.” - Anon player

oh look a quote from somebody who might not even be real and is backed by nothing
coo.

>“You will not and cannot blame the inability of your admin team on the dark lord Satan, he is not involved and the player named after such is just a massive poser.” - Anon player

...okay firstly anonymous quote. Secondly, I really really think you don't know how to defend yourself with quotes. This quote is not at all defending you and your points, it's only a complaint towards the admin team. And also if someone is going to say this, they'd best come out of the woodwork and quit hiding like a coward.

>Applications seem rather unfound. Do the tiers actually affect anything? Player makes teirs in one or two, yet have been denied or asked to changed based equipment that should have a teir of its own. It makes little sense and should be looked through.

Firstly, this is extremely hard to understand. If you want to make a point, make sure it's well written.
Secondly, the tiers are entirely to give people a general feel of how the races rank in terms of required quality of app and skill. On top of that this is another call out to a specific situation that involved you and you alone. While the situation was quite pants and didn't need to be as confrontational as it was, it is still cowardly to call things out in subtext and making them seem more grand then they really are.

>IC/OOC: It can be noted that, to several anonymous members of the community, the admins seem to bring OOC matters into the IC univervse, stopping several things based on that. Similarly, this mindset has spread through several other players to the point where someone wanted to minge punch for a fight.

So you have several members of the community who may not exist or may not have complaints at all, or may well be poor players with poor relations with the admin team to begin with. Cool, let me get my ton of salt ready to take this with.
Now I can't speak for the OOC/IC divide being broken. I don't know, I haven't been here long enough by my ken to really see much of this happening if it is. If it is happening, this is a big deal that needs to be resolved, but I can't take anything brought from an anonymous source as actually being real. However, again I do believe you're trying to call out specific situations without calling them out, which is again hugely cowardly. Any decent player wouldn't even consider minge punching for a fight unless it was a joke. Blaming that on the admin team is laughable.

>We love you. We really do. We’re friends and we want to have fun on this server but these glaring issues are just too much for many to have fun. Please, don’t take this personally.

Hello manipulation my old friend.
Trying to make sure everyone understands that there are no hard feelings when you're voicing complaints like this makes sense. Doing it this way is trying to manipulate people. The whole thing reeks of an attempt to see the reasonable party. And don't take this personally? You made it personal when you harassed Arglack repeatedly to the point that he took an LoA to get away from you, trash talked behind closed doors, and made mountains out of every molehill in a twenty mile radius. You don't get to say “don't take it personally”. You made it just that every step of the way.

>Side note: Admin characters seem to constantly be the ‘main character’, appearing at random times with little to no reason to be hero.

Admin characters are almost always high ranking and in many cases more experienced. That is the way of the admin team, they give power to trusted individuals and much of the time those individuals are the team themselves. There are plenty of characters who aren't admins who show up at random times to do important things, I played one of them last event. My character, Jesse Tranton, showed up mid event and filtered and scanned the water, something that nobody else was sure how to do, to get useful information that we could use to piece together how those people died and if it was safe. If you're finding admin characters to be doing too many important things, you are simply playing unimportant characters.

>Side side note: Apparently flaming has gone on behind closed doors

I believe the door is labeled “Satan International”. Trash talking has occurred behind everyone's doors. Don't bullshit and say it hasn't, you've trash talked the admin team to me personally. It goes both ways, and it is private venting. It should be used to call people out as much as punching a bag or going for an angry run should be.

Now moving on to further responses, Humpy interjected by pointing out that most of the the admin team doesn't really know what they're doing at this point, possibly as a joke to lighten the mood and possibly seriously, to which Gungi tried to assure everyone that there were no hard feelings. Filter then responded to Satan's comment by stating he hadn't read the whole thing yet and posting chat logs to counter something Satan had said, ending the post with “Please stop putting words in our mouths.”. I see nothing wrong with this. He saw a specific part of the post and responded to it because he had something to say, it's better than simply waffling for far too long when you have nothing to say. Satan however disagrees, saying that Filter should “Please read the entire post instead of commenting on one thing.”. See above.

>Great response Admin Team!

I'll take maturity for five hundred, Alex.

Arglack then made a very lengthy post doing just what I did with Satan's post. I will now address that.
Firstly, I'm going to be going easy on him in terms of writing because I am aware English isn't his first language and the situation at the moment has him stressed up to the eyeballs. He has excuses for being sloppy: You don't, Satan.

>Right, let me get this straight, we never tell when are there going to be events.. we just.. throw it there... specially when its part of the event's lore and spreading it would be considered spoilters...  check the group by the way, there are one week announceements.

I'm not sure if this was supposed to be defending the team or not. However, the idea of events that just happen can keep people on their toes and keep things interesting. I can't speak on the group announcements, because I don't believe I'm in the group.

>This is why we got the "player events" thread, where you can go ahead and apply for your own event! If you *think* things are that bad, go ahead and try to make your own and "show us" how to do it

This is a very, very valid point. The team openly has an event app area where you can throw an event idea if you write it up well.

>What nobody knows, is the pamphlet was never IC, was it my fault that GMOD screwed it up and the message didn't come? Yes, it was a single problem, now I dont care if it "ruins everything", it was never meant to be IC, nor it will be.

Can't speak tot his situation because I wasn't there, however lampooning the team for one mistake is fairly absurd. I understand culmination and I understand that one slip up can ruin an event, but mistakes happen.

>That is actually just you. The admins, specially me, offers help towards the other players if they have any problems or questions, if you keep making assumptions, then it's your problem, not mine, or ours.

This is a bit confrontational in ways it didn't need to be and I don't entirely see how it connects. However, calling out the anonymous crowd to some degree is good.

>I see that is a direct statement towards me, and you are not very discrete about it, that sentence is actually false, since I do not think i'm a OP bastard, at least i didnt get a striker out of nowhere, did I?

's cause it is mate.
Again very confrontational in ways maybe it doesn't need to be, but calling out directly is a hell of a lot better than calling out passive aggressively.

>MAYBE if the discord clusterfuck could stop and actually try to get some development instead of messing around with PAC,  these people would. Also dont say "No one", because the Discord folks aren't the whole server.

I can't speak to the Discord crew, but making general statements about them is just as bad as Satan making statements about the whole server and I'll call anyone out on that just the same. It's good that you also called out Satan for the same, but don't stoop to his level.

>Nothing I can do about insecurity. And once again, its not "no one", use these words correctly

There are things admins can do to rebuild trust if there is actual distrust, but it's not even necessarily there. Again, nobody outside of the people who distrust the admins know who distrusts the admins or whether that's a group that exists at all because nobody will step forward and speak out. Again, good calling out the blanket statements.

>I hope you understand that our owner had to take a LOA, he will be back in a few days, story will go on, and *yes*, it has been explained, if you didn't find it out IC, I dont know, then.

Similar points to what I said earlier, but it can be legitimately difficult to get a straight answer as to what's going on IC, and it may well have been that it was difficult to find out how all those things happened. Again, I can't speak to whether that's true because I wasn't there.

>Already talked about player events

Ditto.

>That actually sounds very power hungry.

Well it's a joke quote and most of it is jokey. Taking it seriously is a little absurd considering the wording.

>Which is why we made it strict now.

That doesn't really fix his complaints. Being more strict isn't a solution unless anyone can march in with an Asari who has the brain of a Quarian raised by Krogan.

>That one was actually a misunderstanding, us, me even, never, ever wanted to bring OOC to IC, we are all friends, yes, but whatever happened, i want to assure you, that this was noever meant to happen, and someone might have gotten it wrong.

This is kind of confusing but the gist of it is basically an apology that things got out of hand and people got confused. That happens a lot, and even if it ended poorly, that doesn't mean you need to rail on the staff for confusion and mistakes made in confusion.

>By the way i dont know how knowing the name of a place can be considered "protagonsit"

wat

Satan then responded.

>The Discord that WROTE this, not just me. I didn't type this I only posted. The People who /agree/ with this is the vast majority of the your server.

Is... that supposed to be a defense? Because it isn't. That's the exact thing he was saying before, you are proving his point. Also, I'm going to refer to generalizations as “blanky statements” from here on out because it amuses me. ohandbythewayblankystatements

>This is a direct statement from all of us.

WHO THE FUCK IS ALL OF US?
Excuse my french and my capslock, but who is “all of us”? You haven't named names, you have no proof that there are people who agree with you, all you're doing is saying things with no damn backing. Give proof, give names, give testimonies from someone, bring anything but empty words.

>From what I've heard and what people AGREE is that you got this authorized before doing it and voided it when it backfired.

Can't speak to the truth of this, but again anonymous people saying anonymous things anonymously.

>I've been asking to be given admin for a single event. I want to run it, not write it and let your admin team run it.

Well tough. You're not signing up to run an event, you're giving them an event idea. You aren't an admin. Deal with that fact or find somewhere else where they'll take you as an admin.

>I did not write this, again another player did whom I will happily name if needed.

Then bloody name the bastard! You keep saying you have supporters, name them!

>Strict is over nit-picking simple applications

Yes, that is a good point. However, the situation you are passively aggressively alluding to was partially caused by you being more volatile than you had to. Gentle nitpicks can be easily resolved, as they were once you stopped trying to fight the admins and worked with them. And again, don't be a damn coward. If you're calling something out, call it out.

From there, there were a smattering of posts. Brayton told everyone they were stupid, DRGN posted... something, not sure what, and Arglack did basically the same as DRGN.

Then our lord and savior Gungi came in and said the smartest shit I've ever seen him say.

Gungi should be part of a band. We'll call it Callout Boy because he tore into everyone appropriately. Though very firey and aggressive, the points Gungi made are hugely valid to the situation, though everyone shutting up with probably just result in this blowing up later.

Then some other people said some things that are only sort of important, no offense intended lads.

The takeaway here from everyone should be this; Keep a level head on your shoulders and don't make mountains out of molehills. If you have problems, take it up quietly and privately and don't rile up your camp of people who, well, might not even be real. Hold yourself to the same standards you hold others to, and that goes both ways. Everyone involved here has problems to deal with, but nobody will deal with them if they feel like they have to fight for their way of thinking. People from both sides just need to calm down and have a calm chat about what should be changed and how it should change to make the server better. Possibly that discussion should wait until Legion gets back so he can take part, or maybe even never considering when he gets back things might improve in all the ways that all these people Satan claims back him want it to improve.

This thread should be ended and this discussion should go to steam. This is riling people up more than necessary. And if I'm to wear my biases on my sleeve, I do support the admin team here in the end of all things. There are certainly problems, no doubt about it, but until Satan is standing on solid ground rather than anonymous statements and a mountain of blankies, as well as cleaning up his act and not harassing people privately and hiding that fact, I side with the admin team here. Again, the server may have some problems, I haven't been here for long enough to know, but you are going about this so wrong it blows my goddamn mind.

Just follow Wheaton's Law, people, for god's sake.
Don't be a dick.

Ahem, names of "all of us include"
Space Boog
I
Blue
Joker
Darkstar
Brayton
Toki
Kulzcow.
DRGN
& Soviet Pikachu.

The Anonymous player is Brayton who wanted to make a few light-hearted jokes. Stop saying "IT WAS ALL SATAN!" Because it wasn't. Frankly, I knew a Complaint would turn into a shit-storm and we even said that when we were making it.

"Great response!" came from becuase the Admins took two days to respond and we were all waiting. It got the attettion of Arglack, who I thank for responding.

Alright, now you've given names. Before now it was completely up in the air whether those people even existed. You inspire suspicion by not revealing who the people you claim are with you are.

You've made it completely unclear who's saying what. When you post this, it seems like this is from you entirely, and it really desperately needed labeling showing who's saying what. Keeping everyone anonymous hurts your points and causes an "Us versus them" mentality to develop, which has developed with fault to both sides though you did kind of instigate it by having "The Discord Group". Regardless, naming names makes things easier to handle.

Regardless, it was immature and impatient. Two days isn't long, and more importantly your comment could easily stir up ill will.

Oh, and to hold yourself to your own standards:
Please read the entire post instead of commenting on three things.

Let me be clear that the discord that I own was never made to become this group that we all like to now call 'The Discord Group', I put the discord up ages ago as a private retreat for me and my friends which grew bigger after the Singularity Discord went down which in turn made my discord the next place to go to. Just before anyone starts dragging my shit into this.

And if you're going to ask me to write something? No, I'm not going to because I'd rather not. I'm not going to say why or give any reasoning, I just don't want to.

As stated above, if you want to help fix the issues, help us help you.

Straight and foremost, I'm going to come out and state that there was never an intent to target just Satan, there was never an intent to target anyone.

This passive aggressive, sarcastic asshole approach to most of these conversations has been the problem. I've done that myself in the past, as I've learnt to change out of as time went on.

From day one, you've been problematic. OOC has never been a problem between either of us, but the problems still stand. We're sick and tired of having to deal with empty complaints that seem to all align up to people being unsatisfied and annoyed that they can't be as involved in the content as they want to be.

Problem is, we can't help anyone, if we throw shit at each other. I can't take any of you seriously, when you respond like pricks to us when we do a small decision. None of us want to blame anyone, you can't blame every admin because Arglack might of responded badly, or said something wrong. Your insistence on insulting us behind our backs, being afraid to even state shit to us under this false pretence of us straight up banning you for trying to show you care?

This isn't Singularity. We aren't trying to be another Singularity, in general. Piano may of let some of you push him around like nothing, but you're not pushing me, or any of the staff around because you think you can do what you damn well please.

Yet, I will always admit there has been mistakes here and there, but not enough to cause this much of a 'problem'. You know why I put up this 'dull' announcement for the joke apps? Because the past seventeen times they've been put up, we thought it was a dumb joke that was soon about to die out. We found the tenth time it came up, to be sort of grating. Not entirely serious, annoying.

We finally lost our patience, we got sick of it. We got sick of fucking dealing with all of it. If that somehow makes us look bad, then some of you really need some form of a reality check. The joke's not funny to us anymore, even if it's the funniest fucking thing to some of you. End of story.

I appreciate, as do all of us, the complaints put forth.

But you aren't the best person to put them forth, no one should have to hide behind you, to state their opinion. Until some of you step forward to attempt to discuss things with us like sensible human beings, none of this will go away, and I will have no intent of pursuing it.

Either shape up and start acting like mature individuals, or don't. Because now I'm sick of it. People who refused to be involved in this vendetta, are sick of it. So please, for once, talk to us rationally. Until you start doing that, this thread is closed. I'm not allowing another flame war to tear everything apart. Talk to me, or continue to divide people. Your choice.

I'll take a crack at all of this when I get home and take my first shower Since the ninth of July. (Join the army they said)

I know most of the issues have been resolved but I'm just going to say my small piece. Since the server was a concept I have preached transparency between the player and the admin team. One of my biggest things, we're beer scored you to have fun.

Personally I've tried to take a different approach to gmodRP I've honestly never been a fan of root em toot em shoot em up events as the run of the mill event, I prefer to talk out actions instead of playing DOD mass effect version.

Th problem that I myself have run into is that we can only plan so much for players. I can guess what your going to do and usually you guys think out of the box. Which is awesome! But makes me stumble a bit.

While the syndicate interactions are a part of the role play I kinda wanted it to be just that a part (until other things happen which I'm still trying to write down). We're a ship of free spirits, you don't have to be a cold blooded criminal contracted by the syndicate. You could be a doctor down on his luck, or the failed inventor of the hanar bicycle. All in all I've wanted to keep the format free for us. To be able to explore the Galaxy it out having to shoot up everyone we meet. I looked to cowboy bebop and Firefly for inspiration here, that's my dream that I've seem to have lost in translation.

Th biggest thing is, this server is for all of you, not me. I want you guys to go out and have the fun while I try to run things with what I think is an awesome team who communicate when we they can and come to a group decision to remove any kind of bias.

This server can be molded any way you guys want, it's freeForm!

And I apologize for my absence and my rather newness to running a community. Feel free to toss me pointers if you got them!

To wrap this up, I'm upset about the targeting here but it seems to have been resolvved. Personally I'm not a fan of discord because it breaks my immersion, instead of "what should my character do" its "look at what my character can do." But that's just me, talk away!

Anyways real ending because it's my first day out of basicly playing military laser tag with tanks and shit. I'm going to end this with a quote our Fort Polk OC told my troop today.

"Disagreement doesn't mean disloyalty, have a thick skin.

I'll be back soon. Have fun guys! It's a goddam rule!
